My Lover done me wrong

Published by marthat at 5:27 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

      My Lover done me wrong.

My background and expertise is totally from living it, I have no medical background. My nutritional information is from decades of diets. I have spent my life in this great battle. Sanity being David, my compulsion/deficiency Goliath.

My body lacks hormones that tell my brain I am full. Then there is my old pal compulsion that allows me to deal with all and I mean all my problems with food. Goliath is too gentle its really a monster and that’s one monster that fights dirty. So sad to call it a monster when it has been my one true companion for so many years. My whole life, food has been my friend, playmate, and lover. Always there to soothes my troubles away. Monster because it causes so much pain. Physical pain mental pain, deforms my body, health problems, you name it. I have abused food a.k.a. my lover and it has done me wrong. But I guess that’s the price of love.

Fixing this relationship so that it becomes a healthy one takes dedication and love. Two things most of us are not so good at being dedicated to ourselves and our own happiness and loving ourselves. It’s not selfish or self-centered for we most be at our best to offer our best to our family, friends, occupation. When we are at our best, we are capable of greatness. Therefore, let us start loving ourselves, which means doing the right thing, eating right, taking time to reflect, to pray (not in panic).

      Taking control is 3 fold,

      1. Body=food you eat, exercise,
      2. Mind=thoughts you entertain,
      3. Soul=affirmation, prayer, reading.

When you limit yourself by not working on all three parts you might find that the results a fleeting. Work on all three and reap the reward of your success in happiness and a slimmer body.
